They are block sawtooth blades, extern constant sawtooth blades and intern constant sawtooth blades. The choices of these three kinds of blades may follow the following rules:
To cut marbles, cements and granites, you should choose the block sawtooth blades.
To cut Jades, you should choose the extern constant sawtooth blades.
To cut those expensive materials such as monocrystalline silicon, you should choose the intern constant sawtooth blades.
On the other aspect, the sawtooth of constant sawtooth blades is continuous without any discontinuous point, so the heat emission efficiency of this design is not so good. On contrary, the heat emission efficiency of block sawtooth blades is much better than the former one. So it comes some other rules:
The constant sawtooth blades are for wet cutting which is for ceramic tiles, glass and quartzes.
The block sawtooth blades are for dry cutting which is for sandstones, concretes and bricks.
In constructions of roads or buildings in field, it's suitable to use laser welding diamond blades and concrete core bits to treat concrete materials. The welding strength won't be lower because of the laser welding technology.
The other types of blades have different usages. In general, strip blades are for raw stones; belt blades are for special materials such as graphite electrodes; rope saws are for the exploitation and breaking of large stones in mines and wire saws are for jade crafts.
In addition, there is a general rule for choosing diamond saw blades according to the cutting speed. The cutting speed equals the product of the external diameter, the rotational speed and PI divided by 60. A reasonable cutting speed is often within 60 to 90 meters per second.
